At the solemn meeting devoted to the 23 anniversary of the Constitution, the President of Uzbekistan declared that 2016 will be the Year of a healthy mother and a healthy baby. The tradition of spending a year devoted to a particular social direction dates back to 1997.
Every year in Uzbekistan has specific theme, which defines the main guidelines of the the Social State program. This year in Uzbekistan has been called the Year of Attention and Care for the Older Generation.
